The competition brief was to equip a new urban development in the Finestrat Zone with sports facilities. This was to include hotel and residential areas associated with the sports facilities in order to promote the whole complex. The difference in levels on the site together with the urbanisation layout in the Town Planed to a setting in terraces which served to separate the different requirements. The sports buildings act as a junction between the open sports tracks and the residential areas.
